Omiš is a charming little town set in a picturesque location on the Adriatic coast, where the Cetina River and the Adriatic Sea meet in a breathtaking embrace surrounded by the dramatic Omiš Dinara mountains.

Those high cliffs once served as a stronghold for Omiš pirates who controlled regional maritime trade in the Middle Ages, which is why the town is still called the ‘town of pirates’.
